These gorgeous handwoven Apika baskets can be used to store a myriad of small, valuable things. Thy are made using a smaller, more delicate, straw that grows locally and is used for weaving hats. "Apika" is the word for 'small' in the Gurune language that is spoken in and around Bolgatanga, Ghana.
