Limited-edition collaboration between Koskela and Tiwi Design.
Tiwi Design is an Indigenous art centre located on Bathurst Island, which is approximately 80 kilometres north of Darwin.
They have been printing textiles since the 1980s and have a purpose-built printing workshop where they can produce 500 metres of fabric a week during the dry season.
Koskela has acquired some of their Stone Age fabric in blue and orange to make a limited-edition series of cushions. This fabric is based on a Tiwi painting by Danny Munkara from 1978 and has been screen-printed by hand.
Each cushion is 40 x 40cm with a denim backing and leather Koskela tag.
